Ann O’Malley Shake began her legal career in 1982. Her practice was primarily business and commercial real estate litigation matters. Elected District Judge in 1989, she presided in every division of district court, including 2 years exclusively in Probate Court. Appointed and then elected to Circuit Court in 1998, she served there for 12 years. Finally she was honored to serve as Judge on the Kentucky Court of Appeals for the final 18 months of her judicial service.

She presided over multiple personal injury, wrongful death, business, real estate, employment and contentious probate cases, among others.

In her years of mediating cases (since February, 2007), she has mediated many workplace, personal injury, wrongful death, business, real estate and probate disputes. She has had great success in bringing cases to settlement. What she enjoys most about mediating is witnessing the relief of the parties and their lawyers when a difficult litigation matter is resolved to the mutual satisfaction of all sides. She will be honored to assist you and your client(s).
